When you sign up for our Puppy Training Class, you get a series of 7 in person sessions with a Certified Puppy Training Instructor who will guide you and a handful of classmates through the journey of raising and training your puppies. Polish up your relationship with your older puppy or dog with this foundation class! This class teaches owners and dogs regardless of prior experience.
CURRICULUM
This 7-week course focuses on teaching good behavior in the home and getting ready to get out in the community for your dog. We aim to enhance the bond between owner and dog. Even dogs with no formal training, or who need a refresher, will benefit. You and your dog will learn specific skills like sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, greeting people and dogs calmly, and more!
Initially, we will make extensive use of food in your dog’s training, but we will also show you how to phase out the need for food lures so you do not become dependent on food to get your dog’s attention or compliance.
